- Be fully aware of all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations displayed at the site and fully trained in all associated matters e.g. Accident and Emergency procedures
- To ensure matters regarding health and safety to self and other individuals are fully understood and taken seriously
- Be aware of and report potential health and safety hazards
- Ensure the shop is always fully stocked and merchandised to Company guidelines
- Be fully aware of all Company promotions prior to promotion commencing
- Actively take part in the suggestive selling of Company goods/promotions to the benefit of the Company
- Ensure the correct handling/proportioning of Company stock/property to avoid excessive wastage
- Ensure that customers are treated in a friendly and polite manner at all times
- Ensure every customer is acknowledged/greeted in a polite and friendly manner
- Ensure that service given to customer is efficient and accurate at all times
- Assist customers with their enquiries to the satisfaction of the Company
- Check for customer satisfaction with regard to meals, Truckwash, motel etc.
- Be fully trained to deal promptly and effectively with customer complaints, ensuring that all such matters are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer
- Ensure that serious/unresolved customer complaints are promptly reported to line management
- Ensure that complete Company uniform is worn at all times whilst on duty and that the Company dress code is fully adhered to
- Allow only authorised staff/visitors into the console area of the shop and restaurant
- Operate the till in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Ensure all other Company security procedures are adhered to at all times, and the management are advised of any breaches.
- To participate fully in all relevant training activities and to assist in the training and support of other staff
- Attend an annual appraisal and quarterly reviews
- Attend site/communications meetings as and when required
- Complete all reasonable additional duties as requested by Supervisor/Management
