As a global leader (think top 1% Microsoft Azure partner!), they're on a mission to empower their customers through smarter infrastructure and data-driven insights.About the Position They are seeking a Financial Controller who will work with the LUK&I Finance Director to implement transformation of processes & controls, while maintaining the financial integrity of the business and the control environment. The LIRE Financial Controller will drive an improvement in the efficiency, quality and robustness of financial reporting and management information across the business, as well as use data to provide actionable insights to promote improved business performanceKey Responsibilities
- Lead the Irish Finance Team to ensure the timely and accurate production of financial information and accounts to both senior management and the wider Group.
- Delivery of a timely and accurate month-end close including ensuring general ledgers are accurately maintained.
- Timely and accurate capture of order intake, as well as revenue recognition and management of backlog.
- Preparation and production of the monthly group reporting pack.
- Management and control of the cash function including the preparation of weekly cash forecasts.
- Manage all other aspects of Irish accounting processes, including finance operations, the intercompany recharge process, and employee compensation (payroll).
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with the Group Authority matrix.
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements including audit preparations, statutory account preparations, VAT returns, and corporation tax calculation are met.
- Provide commercial support to the Sales team and support to the UK&I Finance Director.
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or similar.
- Experience within the IT sector preferable.
- Strong background in the production of management accounts and financial statements, experience with audit and tax.
- Experience in Opera, or similar ERP system preferable.
- Experience in a multi-national or large corporate environment preferable.
- Exposure to multi-currency processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Motivated and dedicated accountant capable of working within a deadline driven environment and on their own initiative, proactive and self-starting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Salary €75,000-€90,000
