- As the Finance Controller, you will be ultimately responsible for the monthly and annual financial reporting and annual external audit of Sage Ltd and its subsidiaries and the financial operations functions including Accounts Payable, Collections and Royalties.
- You will lead your teams through the many changes faced by a global finance department, applying your sound experience of change management to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Using your financial acumen, you'll enhance the skills within the Finance Operations teams to develop their accounting knowledge, providing guidance and training to your teams to ensure adherence to controls and best practices.
- You will lead various exciting projects and participate in due diligence activities and business acquisitions.
- You will help shape the strategic direction of the department across its responsibilities for supplier payments, royalties, customer cash collection, credit risk, monthly management and financial reporting, acquisition accounting, business performance reporting and financial controls and be accountable for translating that strategy into specific actionable divisional plans.
- You will be a natural role model with excellent people management skills and leadership, ensuring your teams are set up for success through coaching, training and sharing continuous feedback.
- You will lead the review, strengthening and harmonisation of financial reporting and control processes across the department, ensuring processes are delivered consistently, efficiently and in line with Sage policies and best practice.
