About The Role Sales engineers are expected to specialize on their assigned technology and the aligned courses. They use their technical skills to explain the benefits of their products or services to potential customers and to show how their products or services are better than their competitors'. Sales Engineers should be able to customize learning solutions to meet specific customer needs. Many of the duties of sales engineers are like those of other salespersons. They must interest the client in buying their products or services, negotiate a price, and complete the sale. To do this, sales engineers give technical presentations during which they explain the technical aspects of the product and how it will solve a specific customer problem. In addition to giving technical presentations, sales engineers are increasingly doing other tasks related to sales, such as market research. They also may ask for technical requirements from customers and modify and adjust products to meet customers' specific needs. Sales engineers work on research and development to help identify and develop new products. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers. Talk with customers and engineers to assess training needs and to determine requirements. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals. Secure and renew orders. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs. Help customers solve problems and maximize technology investments. Recommend learning solution to customers, showing how training will increase ROI. Show proof of concept to support new technology acquisition. Help in researching and developing new learning solutions. Responsible for creating and delivering compelling technical presentations. These presentations will showcase the features and benefits of our training solutions, while clearly demonstrating how they address the client's specific problems. Your ability to explain complex topics in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner will be crucial. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience into Pre-sales role. Strong knowledge of Sales Acumen with technical product knowledge. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
