Our Housekeeping team takes pride in the service it delivers to the College and each member of the team contributes to ensure clean, attractive and welcoming surroundings and high standards of cleanliness for students, Fellows, staff, guests and visitors.We are now looking for enthusiastic and reliable casual Housekeepers to join our housekeeping team during the summer months (June to September) supporting our Conference and Events business. This work is offered on a casual basis and shifts are generally offered on a first come, first served basis and casual workers are able to volunteer for the shifts that suit their availability. Full-time work (37.5 hours per week) is also available. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are available to work at weekends. Duties include cleaning bedrooms, kitchens, public areas and the servicing of guest rooms (including bed making, linen change) in readiness for new arrivals. Previous housekeeping experience is not essential, as full comprehensive training will be given.Fitzwilliam College is a modern, open-minded, confident, inclusive academic community with a unique history.
