  • Create prototypes/mockups that best represent the final manufactured product including cutting, assembling, and embellishing.
  • Safely and efficiently use all prototyping tools and materials such as cutting tools, spray mount, glitter, foil applications and various embellishments to develop final product.
  • Coordinate with internal Creative, Sales and Product Development team to produce high quality prototypes/mockups efficiently.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding ability to maintain schedules and deadlines.
  • Assist with preparing and printing digital files.
  • Instruct and lead freelancers.
  • Assist in assembly of presentation and trend boards as needed.
  • Maintain an organized workspace including personal work area and equipment.
  • Daily tracking of project status using Workfront.
  • Maintain inventory of prototyping supplies and materials.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned (assist with shipping, sample archiving, etc.).
Required SkillsRequired Experience
  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Design or a related field plus 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position.
  • Previous Creative, Art or Crafting background is preferred.
  • Superior manual dexterity skills for heavy cutting, assembling, embellishing and finishing.
  • Ability to guide and lead freelance staff, including maintaining a pool of skilled freelancers.
  • Strong ability to multitask, plan, and manage complex projects with a keen focus on details in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Intermediate level skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Basic level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe Workfront experience is preferred.
  • Practical understanding of printing, manufacturing processes and color management is preferred.
