If you are studying Psychology, Social Sciences, Education or Sports, and have a passion for working with and supporting children, you have the skill set that we are looking for.What Will I Be Doing?Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of SEND and Primary schools providing support for students with additional needs to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom. Initially you will work on a day-to-day basis, however there could be the option for a school to offer you a long-term position should they require.Where Will I Be Working?Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND / Primary schools schools across Manchester and Salford with a range of different needs (ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD to mention a few) while following the main aims and ethos’ of the schools. No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.About You…Whether you have studied Education, Psychology, Sociology or something completely different, your transferable skills are required! As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.You must be adaptable, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.Although not essential, extra qualifications in training in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach are desirable.What Protocol can offer:
