Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow's clean and connected car.Supplier Quality Engineer Essential Functions/Duties:Measurement LabEnsure quality of incoming material and outgoing FEM that meet our Customer's expectationsComponents measures. (assembly piece or complete assembly)Service to the Non-directed Suppliers / Directed as requiredService to the Industrial OperationCalibration PlanMeasure of different components.Calibration and adjustment of assembly devices.Assist & participate in PPAP & PSO activitiesSupplier's evaluation.Claim suppliers to quality problems.Internal Quality PerformanceDevice Programs.Ensuring compliance to and participation in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certificationEnsure computer/internet access to Customer Specific Portals and department-specific required ApplicationsCustomer Quality Performance.Document control & System Maintenance.Process Product / Capability Performance. (GR&R, etc.)KPI review and monitoring as required.Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate repair.Audit activities (EP, other internal)Co-ordinate containment activitiesPerform all duties in a safe & environmental manner.Interface with HBPO production employees.Participate or lead root cause analysis & corrective action activitiesParticipate in CI activitiesParticipate in creating a safe-oriented work environmentCoordinate clear point activitiesMonitor & control change managementSupporting the launch of ISO 45001 and 50001 * Cooperation with Human Resources in dealing with personal matters
  • Ensure 5S & Respect HBPO's Austins facility
  • Participate in creating a safe-oriented work environment
  • Use or wear PPE as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience/Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering is mandatory or a college diploma. A Master's is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt IATF16949/CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) ISO 14001
  • Lean Manufacturing and JIS/JIT production system implementation
  • Candidates should also be able to maintain confidentiality while working on daily planning initiatives, evaluating efficiency projects, and handling general project matters
  • Have an understanding of CMM data and analysis techniques
