Microsoft Exchange / Skype for Business System Admin - RFQ-ASD-61-2024 - SOW 1 - OriginalDue to the nature of clients we work with here at Kinexus and the projects these roles will be based on, an Australian Government Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance is essential.These opportunities do not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance (including applicants who currently hold a security clearance seeking to upgrade).ABOUT THIS ROLEThe System Admin is responsible for complex activities and tasks relating to monitoring and maintenance of ICT servers and software. The System Administrator will conduct these activities whilst working cohesively and flexibly with related stakeholders to the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.ABOUT THE COMPANYAustralian Signals Directorate (ASD) is the federal agency responsible for foreign signals intelligence, cyber warfare and information security. Long contracts (12 months+) available.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer, monitor and maintain complex Microsoft technologies. Provide advanced skills in delivery of services to ICT platforms utilising Commonwealth approved designs.
Manage, maintain and administer complex Microsoft Exchange and external email gateway environments.
Manage, maintain and Administer Microsoft Skype for Business.
Create and maintain PowerShell scripts used for ad-hoc tasking and system automation.
Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and document changes to ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Experience in the successful delivery of complex ICT outcomes across an Enterprise.
Proven experience in Microsoft Exchange / Skype for Business along with its roles and features.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of ITIL processes and procedures is considered advantageous
Australian Citizenship and a TSPV security clearance is essential.
