Offer DescriptionȘef de lucrări, position 7The UNESCO Chair "Engineering for Society" was established in 2018, with the main objective of contributing through study and research programs to green energy, intelligent transport, the reduced impact of air transport on the environment, the digitization of transport in order to address UNESCO's mission to provide education for sustainable development.The objectives of the Department fall within the objectives of the UNESCO Strategy 2014-2021:Developing education systems to promote quality lifelong learning opportunities for allTraining students as creative and responsible global citizensPromoting the interface between science, policy and society as well as promoting ethical and inclusive policies for sustainable developmentStrengthening international scientific cooperation for peace, sustainability and social inclusionSupporting inclusive social development, promoting intercultural dialogue and the rapprochement of cultures.Through the study programs on innovation, smart and green energy, the UNESCO Chair works to ensure the learning outcomes: skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to meet this challenge.
