Offer DescriptionȘef de lucrări, position 41The department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering is one of the four departments in the Faculty of Electronics, Telecomunications and Information Technology from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. The department coordinates two bachelor study programmes in two fields of study: Engineering Information (Computers and Information Technology) and Applied Electronics (Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies Engineering) and seven masters programmes: Applied Electronics and Informatics, Medical Electronics and Informatics, Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control, Information and Computer Systems Engineering, Advanced Integrated Technologies in Automotive Electronics, Intelligent Systems and Artificial Vision, Advanced Techniques for Digital Imaging. All bachelor and masters programmes coordinated by the department of Applied Electronics and Information Engineering are accredited by the Romanian Agency of Quality Ensurance in Higher Education, while the Applied Electronics in the English language study programme is also EUR-ACE certified.The open position requires teaching activities (course, laboratory, seminary and project lectures) for the following subjects: Image Processing (Romanian language); Image Processing (English language); Fundamentals of Computer Vision and Machine Learning (English language); Software Applications for Image Processing and Computer Vision (Romanian language); Machine Learning for Visual Applications (Romanian language); Decision and Estimation in Information Processing (Romanian language). The candidate must have a pedagogical certificate or must undertake a pedagogical course withing 3 years of employment. The candidate should have good communication skils, technical and teaching abilities, strong computer operating skills, as well as a strong interest for advanced research in fields of the job's subjects.
