Job DescriptionQuantity Surveyor – Senior Level (Dublin)kppm are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor – Senior Level for our client who deliver high quality construction projects, fit out and refurbishment of buildings including: residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial and community sectors. Projects will be of a general contracting nature (vary in value and include apartment schemes).ResponsibilitiesConstruction projects· Submitting variations and requesting change orders· Preparation and agreement of valuations· Preparation of cost reports and cost management on individual projects· Carry out re-measures· Co-ordination of subcontractors on site· Attending site meeting and co-ordination with Architects and design teams· Preparing and negotiating final accountsSubcontractors· Obtaining quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers· Procurement of works packages for projects· Identify, price and agree project variations efficiently· Compiling, comparing and negotiating contract price with sub-contractors· Checking subcontractor invoices and certifying payments to subcontractorsEducation & Experience· Suitable candidate must be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with 6+ years’ experience and have worked previously with a leading construction company· Have contractors background· You must have knowledge of GCCC Contracts· Have knowledge of current procurement procedures· Candidates must have experience in Build Soft and Microsoft office programmes· Have excellent computer and communication skillsThis is a permanent staff role and salary is negotiable depending on experience.For further information or to apply please contact: Paul Sinnott Recruitment Consultant at kppm in Dublin.
