Are you a nurturing individual with a passion for children's development? We're in search of an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for the children in our care.Responsibilities:Assist in the daily care and supervision of children within our specified age range, following our nursery's policies and procedures.
Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and educational programs to foster physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
Document children's progress and behavior while effectively communicating with parents and colleagues.
Prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children under our care at all times.
Requirements:Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
A genuine love for children and a dedication to their learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with children, parents, and coworkers.
The ability to remain calm and empathetic in challenging situations.
Commitment to upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.
Qualifications:While desirable, a relevant childcare qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 or CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education is not essential.
Preferred but not required, current pediatric first aid certification can be obtained post-employment if needed.
