- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Plant Engineering (or a related field).
- At least 8-10 years of experience in power plant operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Certification in Power Plant Operations or a related area is preferred
- Proficiency in operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
- Strong character with the ability to make firm and fair decisions and, able to work independently and willingness to work closely with local and state authorities with good communication skills
- Plant Operations and Maintenance - Lead the O&M team to ensure the power plant operates efficiently and reliably and Implement and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Permit to Work (PTW) systems as per company policies
- Organize and lead daily, weekly, and monthly operational meetings to align goals and address challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, as well as company safety and environmental policies and conduct regular emergency drills in collaboration with the local fire brigade.
- Budget and Inventory Management: To assist in the preparation, manage, and monitor the plant's operational budget, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits.
- Leadership and Staff Management: Supervise and evaluate the performance of staff at all levels to maintain high standards of productivity and accountability.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide quarterly updates to the Director Technical (O&M) and Operation Manager (HO) on plant performance, expenses, and other key metrics and Prepare and present weekly operational updates and performance reports to the management team.
