- Management and development of trade in cereals and oilseed rape. Look for and sign contracts for grain deliveries (volume, place, quality and price).
- Based on MATIF analysis you daily calculate and prepare the prices (incl. delivery points and dates, transport costs (FOT & FOB), quality specs etc.) and publish it via the mobile app to farmers and the agri inputs sales team.
- Leverage your expertise in futures trading to maximize profitability and manage risk. Hedge purchase and sale transactions on the stock exchange MATIF.
- Fine-tune the mobile app developed by the company (already running in other countries) through which farmers can sell their grains.
- Manage the direct sales to the final customers.
- Budgeting, forecasting and implementation of business objectives.
- Analysis of market and competition, gathering and processing of market information.
- Share market information within the team and with the Silo Managers.
- Supervise the correct implementation of trade agreements, ensure compliance with trading regulations and exchange rules.
- Cultivate relationships with grain producers, buyers, brokers and industry contacts. Represent the company at business meetings.
- The Grain Trader reports to the General Manager Poland.
- Higher educated, preferably agribusiness / commodities trading / finance related.
- Experience in commodity trading, logistics or financial controlling (cereals and oilseeds is definitely an asset).
- Strong knowledge of the quality parameters of cereals and oilseeds.
- Broad knowledge about the grain market, logistics, vendors and MATIF.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
- High analytical skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain business contacts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Team player (able to motivate and cooperate with sales representatives through whom you will be in contact with vendors).
- Ability to recognize and fast react on business opportunities.
