- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of vehicles and drivers.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Manage and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and service providers.
- Monitor transportation performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Lead and motivate a team of drivers and transportation staff to achieve operational objectives.
- Handle any transportation-related issues or emergencies that may arise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in transportation management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
