Job Description:We are inviting applicants for the position of Customer Service Engineer to support our growing business operations in Puerto Rico.Based in California, the role will involve the provision of customer support, routine maintenance, and emergency breakdown repair of automated and semi-automated Randox analysers and associated equipment. This position will be a home office position with the successful applicant travelling to customer sites nationwide.As this function involves extensive and regular travel to customer locations, sometimes at short notice, the ability and willingness to travel is essential.The Role:

Servicing and maintenance of medical devices and related products within Puerto Rico.
Maintaining service and maintenance records according to the Service Department Procedure.
Providing direct support to end users within Puerto Rico.
Services include but are not limited to; preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repair of analysers in the field, installation, commissioning and set up of analyser equipment, providing direct support to the End User by telephone and email.
International travel may be required on occasion.

The Candidate:
Essential:

Possess excellent communication and organisational skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and customers.
Relevant Engineering Qualification or equivalent accredited apprenticeships.
Be available for travel within the region of the United States and, on some occasions, South America.
Computer literacy.

Desirable:

Experience in computer hardware.
Experience in a variety of medical instrumentation.
Experience of engineering.
Experience with clinical chemistry analysers and applications knowledge.
