It is not meant to encompass all duties.Infrastructure Management:Manage agency M365 infrastructure with a focus on user management, mailbox management, Teams, and SharePointEvaluate, Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including procurementComputer imaging and deployments, VOIP phone system configuration, cell phone configuration and deployments, MDM/MAM, and the planning and deployment of other operational technology at multiple sitesSystem Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Manage end-user hardware and softwareDevelop implementation plans, scripts, and testing procedures for end-user hardware and softwareDevelop training plans and provide training for the use of agency hardware and software, both current and newData Security and Compliance:Participate in IT security planning, monitoring, and reportingParti Participate in IT-related compliance planning, activities, and reportingTechnical SupportProvide level 2 support, and level 1 support as scheduled and neededResolve issues promptly to assure uninterrupted serviceCommunication and Collaboration:Collaborate with BOLI staff, vendors, Enterprise Information Services (EIS), and other partnersParticipate in the evaluation, planning, procurement, deployment, and training of agency-wide systemsCoordinate testing, user training, and post-implementation support of any updated systemsWhy Join UsOur mission...Led by Labor Commissioner Christina Stephenson, the Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) works to ensure that Oregon jobs are good jobs, where workers get paid what they are owed and have a discrimination-free work environment. BOLI protects workers’ rights through enforcement of state labor laws, ensures adherence to civil rights law in public spaces and housing, promotes the development of a highly-skilled workforce through registered apprenticeship programs, and provides training and confidential assistance to Oregon employers so they have the tools they need to comply with workplace rules.Working Conditions:The general schedule will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide technical support to the majority of BOLI users. Must expect and be comfortable dealing with many interruptions during the work day to attend to user problems. Requires periodic travel to field office locations for hardware and software installation or system maintenance. Work with computer equipment 85% of the time: desktop and laptop PCs, printers and copiers. Will test hardware connections and network cables requiring routine bending. The position will require regular lifting and moving of IT hardware. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
