This position will be based in our Leuven office and reporting to the Engineering Services Supervisor. This position works closely with our Engineering Business Processes (EBP) Product Life cycle Management (PLM) team.Your responsibilities in shortThe Documentation Officer will focus on coordination, follow-up and facilitation of the product life cycle management processes supporting Engineering, Sales and Operations. This covers the product release and change process. The Documentation Officer organizes the publication and storage of product documentation (drawings, pack specs & authorization docs) after verification and communicates to affected parties like Operations, Engineering & Sales.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Create and maintain product- and authorization data in PLM and ERP applications.Audit key product- and administrative data on technical drawingsExecute publication of product documentation (drawings, pack specs and engineering standards)Follow-up of release- and change projects by:creating and interpreting reports (Where-Used and Sales data);collaborating closely with sales, engineering and operation teams;Organizing and leading meetings with affected parties, escalate when required;Performing regular audits of ongoing projects to ensure meeting the KPI’s.Provide support to users concerning the release and change processes.Recommend and implement enhancements to the PLM processes including utilizing technology to gain efficiencies and eliminate redundancies.YOUR PROFILE:Ability to read a technical drawings.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through work experience (1 to 5 years in an administrative environment)You are a communicative person and a team player.You have analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood knowledge of English (verbal and written) is a must, other languages like Spanish, Italian or German is an assetAffinity to mechanical sectoInterest in Product Lifecycle Management (tools and documentation)Advanced knowledge on MS Office applicationsKnowledge of Oracle, Teamcenter, ARAS or other ERP/PLM applications are an asset.You are in interested in project management.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Hybrid work – office based in Leuven, BelgiumFlexibility to travel occasionally to European manufacturing plants as needed (
