As we expand our footprint across the region, we are seeking an accomplished and visionary Regional Hospice Director to lead our team with passion and expertise.We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Regional Hospice Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of hospice services within our designated region. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in hospice care management, a proven track record of driving organizational growth and excellence, and a deep commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient-centered care.What you will doManage Net Income for all multisite locations shows growth trend and exceeds budget. Assures billing process is accomplished timely and accurately. Stays cognizant of Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial insurance changes and other reimbursement issues. Manages labor and capital expenses for all services provided by the agency.Direct operations so that adequate and appropriate care and services are delivered. Responsible for quality of care and productivity of staff members. Assists staff in setting priorities and making plans to meet health care needs of clients and families based on their therapeutic goals as well as productivity goals for department. Responsible for enforcement of policies, procedures and guidelines for the agency.Maintain and promote positive working relationships with hospitals, physicians, physicians’ office staff, referral sources, other Riverside facilities, and contracted staff. Directs agency operations to ensure appropriate processing of admission referrals and provision of services for clients. Resolves customer concerns and complaints.Maintain positive employee relations as observed from employee comments, complaint resolution, informal observation, turnover rates, exit interviews, feedback from Human Resources, GPTW Survey.Responsible for remaining cognizant of accrediting body regulations. Assures that state certifications and accreditation are completed satisfactorily. Responsible for assuring daily safe practices as referenced in the National Patient Safety Goals, and support safe practices as recommended by the National Quality Forum in alignment with Chap, state and other regulatory requirements.
