Tom’s Guide’s primary ambition is to help you leverage the latest products and services to achieve your ultimate goal.Tom’s Guide is looking for a Social Media Editor to join the team and help contribute to our evolving and ever-growing social audience across multiple platforms.What you'll be doing…As Social Media Editor at Tom's Guide you'll brainstorm, shoot, write, edit and present content on a diverse range of products and trends. Working with the Managing Editor for Social/Video and the UK Editor in Chief, you'll live and breathe social media and be full of great ideas to help take us to the next level.You’ll be predominantly shooting and editing videos for the Tom’s Guide social media accounts, working with other members of the team to generate ideas, create scripts and generate buzz. That includes everything from unboxing the latest gadgets to attending launches and events around the UK and abroad. You'll also take an active part in forward-planning and strategy for editorial and commercial projects (in both the UK and US).Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
  • In-depth knowledge of all things social media, including platforms and tools such as SocialFlow, CapCut, etc.
  • Experience in a social media role at a national website or magazine.
  • A proven ability to work online and an understanding of the needs it brings.
  • A working relationship with public relations professionals in the industry.
  • Good understanding of SEO and analytics.
  • Interest in consumer technology and service journalism is a plus.
