Mercian Logistics is part of the Cathay Investments Group and we are looking for someone to join our small but friendly customer services team as a Customer Service Advisor based at our site in Ross.The main purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer service whilst providing first point of contact for customers, depots and consignee's.Key Tasks:
  • Ensure phone lines are answered promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor incoming emails and process/ distribute as required.
  • Prioritise customer orders and requests.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and consignee enquiries or escalate in line with Company Procedures.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly department tasks as directed by manager and inline with agree procedures.
  • Work alongside all areas of the business to ensure quality of service is prioritised at all times.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks.
Skills required:
  • Relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Positive outlook
  • Good teamwork
  • Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal form.
