- Provide a Project Management service and take accountability for delivering events for new and existing client mandates across the range of product vehicles (pooled and segregated) within LGIM. Lead the project from the pitch through to full implementation
- Co-ordinating the end-to-end implementation of new client mandates across the business e.g. obtaining business approval of fund operating documentation; account set-up; identifying and seeking solutions to non-standards requirements etc.
- Preparing the legal and operational groundwork for implementing changes to existing client mandates
- Provide a Project Management service and take accountability for delivering the Operational elements of events for new and existing fund structures, working closely with partners across the organisation to ensure successful implementation of any new functions transitioned to the team. Also help define the procedures and processes for this function as it transitions to the Client Onboarding team.
- Project and time manage client work in conjunction with other business areas to achieve the client's funding objectives in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring that all legal, operational and transitional tasks are comprehensively considered and completed
- Provide final quality checks on legal documentation line with client requirements
- Attend or facilitate (as appropriate) client conference calls and meetings, acting as a business advisor on the requirements for implementing new client mandates and client change, providing progress updates to clients in the spirit of transparency and collaboration
- Communicate effectively internally and externally on the progress of client work, holding (where required) regular working group meeting sessions with key stakeholders in order to monitor and manage progress relevant to client change activity. As necessary, attend client meetings and conference calls to discuss and report upon implementation plans and progress
- Contribute to Strategic Target Operating Model (STOM) programme to ensure Client Onboarding processes and engagement with others optimised.
- Strong academic background
- Degree qualified (preferably 2.1) or equivalen
- Strong overall Investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options
- Knowledge of current investment, market and economic issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience onboarding international clients, including working with German KvG
- Track record of contributing to and driving business transformation projects
- Thorough understanding and appreciation of FCA regulations and internal governance framework
- Excellent facilitation and meeting skills, being able to discuss complex/technical concept
- A track record of Project Management success, with the disciplines and experience of Onboarding new clients and client change within an asset management environment
- Strong LDI and derivatives knowledge (including the trading and collateral/margin mechanics of OTC and ETD derivatives)
- Detailed Institutional Investment product knowledge and Index funds knowledge
