It is essential the worker has a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience and has the ability to work autonomously out of hours. Social Workers with less than 3 years post qualified experience will not be considered.The Team work on a rota that provides cover at times that the daytime offices are closed on evenings, overnight, weekends and public holidays which rotates over 3 weeks including working 2 out of 3 weekends. The role currently is working from home, but office based working may be required at times / in the future.The successful candidate will have the benefit of:
  • Supportive Team and Managers
  • Reflective 1 to 1 supervisions
  • Developing skills and working with a dedicated team of multi agency colleagues
  • Access to training and development opportunities with dedicated off rota time built in to complete
  • Support of an On call Senior Manager
Essential Requirements:
  • Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
