Cpl Healthcare in partnership with a global leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Renal and Dialysis nurse for their transformational renal team operating out of Irelands South and Southwest region.The Renal Therapy Specialist is an essential role within their Chronic Renal Business Unit and will act as a champion for patient pathways and an advocate in the promotion of their products to healthcare professionals ultimately involved in the delivery of critical care to dialysis patients. Renal Therapy Specialist work together with healthcare professionals within Renal Units from across Ireland driving clinical practice efficiencies and effectiveness, along with the use of their products, ultimately aligning their activities to those of the wider renal team and the business strategy of the company.Territories - South West including Mayo, Sligo Letterkenny, and South including Cork, Kerry and WaterfordDuties and ResponsibilitiesAchieving sales budgets and qualitative business objectives for the assigned therapies by:
  • Establish effective working relationships with customers, proposing innovative solutions and explaining and promoting their product portfolio.
  • Promote the preferred patient pathway to healthcare professionals using up to date evidence.
  • Demonstrate and train customers on the companies' Renal therapies, products and services effectively through an evidence-based approach.
  • Implement identified therapy and product marketing campaigns/activities.
  • Provide educational support to customers training days onsite in hospitals.
  • Facilitate peer to peer networking opportunities across the territory for renal unit staff, to encourage benchmarking against best demonstrated evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain up to date customer records through effective use of their CRM tool.
  • Develop excellent personal knowledge of the therapy environment, products and their applications and ensure product/renal knowledge remains evidence based.
  • Support Renal customers in the evaluation and use of Company's products and services.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, therapy and clinical development team and Medical Affairs to identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in the renal therapy areas, both regionally and nationally.
  • Lead internal training initiatives, as subject matter experts to drive clinical excellence amongst the renal team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Manager in the territory.

The job holder must:

  • Satisfactorily complete all training courses deemed necessary for the position.

  • Comply with Ethical and Code of Conduct Standards.
  • Ability to travel daily and stay away from home as required.
  • Adhere to relevant company protocols and Standard Operating Procedures
Education and/or experience:
  • Recognised nursing qualification with 3 years renal experience or ITU experience.
  • Post graduate renal nursing certificate/ITU Certificate preferable.
  • 3 years training / selling experience within the Healthcare industry desirable but not mandatory.
  • Hold a full clean driving license.
