RN Clinical Coordinator Neuro

• Coordinate clinical and department activities for the Neurology unit, including shift charge responsibilities.
• Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards and guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team, maintaining communication and promoting cooperation.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and performance management as needed.
• Promote relationship-based care and uphold organizational mission and core values.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide optimal care to patients, adhering to patient care standards and guidelines.

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• RN License to practice in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire or internal transfer.
• Nursing Specialty Certification related to Neurology strongly preferred.
