Join us as a Portfolio Distribution & Analytics Analyst
  • We’ll look to you to support the ongoing portfolio lifecycle management activities and reporting across our Securitised Corporate Banking Book Lending or net asset value portfolios, which comprise structured loans to UK, European and US clients
  • You’ll be working with client facing teams, Trading and other NatWest Markets functions

What you'll doAs a Portfolio Distribution & Analytics Analyst, you’ll be supporting the team in monitoring a portfolio of structured finance transactions. This will include monitoring deal and client performance against specified triggers.As well as this, you’ll be collecting and assisting with reviewing the reporting data, compiling deal level trend analysis to identify covenant or trigger breaches, or deteriorations in performance. You’ll also be assisting with the preparation of performance reports as required for stakeholders both within Private Finance and across Credit.Additionally, you’ll be:
  • Looking for opportunities to automate or simplify data capture
  • Supporting distribution activities across Private Financing to support our financial objectives around revenue targets and resource budgets
  • Working closely with Private Financing teams across Sales or Structuring and Risk Management to manage the ongoing asset pipeline
The skills you'll needTo take on this role, you’ll need knowledge of securitisations backed by leveraged loans, leveraged finance, fund lending or secured corporate lending and some familiarity with the transaction documentation.You’ll be highly organised, with excellent Excel skills and experience of handling and interpreting large data sets. Ideally, you’ll also have coding experience, including SQL, VBA, data visualisation tools and Python.On top of this, you’ll bring:
  • An interest in emerging technologies such as AI
  • Demonstrable communication and people management skills
  • The ability to work with others to perform complex tasks and adjust your actions in relation to other people’s needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
