The products make heavy use of high tech sensors and cameras so any prior knowledge here will be a huge benefit.They work a 34 hour week over 4 days, mainly office based but some opportunities to work from home. They provide medical cover the immediate family in addition to life assurance and a pension scheme.This position will suit a Senior Electronic Design Engineer with a knack for innovation (they have won a number of awards) and over 10 years of experience. You will lead the design and development of cutting-edge electronic hardware and systems, taking them from concept to manufacturing.It’s a varied role with elements of digital design, analogue, FPGA, high voltage power and systems level specification. You will work alongside 2 other electronics engineers, Physicists and Mechanical Engineers.Senior Electronics Engineer essential skills:

Extensive digital electronic design, including FPGA (Xilinx preferred)
Proficiency in analog electronic design
Skillful in PCB layout, preferably using Altium
Solid knowledge of design for EMC – you keep electromagnetic chaos at bay.

Senior Electronics Engineer useful skills:

Basic knowledge of Optics – you see the light!
Understanding of high voltage circuits – you're electrifying!
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – you're a self-starter.
Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings – you understand the nuts and bolts.
