Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant

- Provide support to primary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Support students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the classroom
- Work closely with teachers to support students in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Help create a positive learning environment for all students
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Childcare)
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Experience supporting students with SEMH and ADHD
- Knowledge of SEN best practises
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
- Additional SEN training or certification
- First Aid certification
- Work primarily in a classroom setting
- Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
- Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required
