DescriptionJoin Hitachi Energy and be part of Hitachi Energy Technology team within business line Transformers. Business line transformers manufactures transformers, reactors and transformer components, including bushing, tap changers and insulation materials.We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the R&D team in Technology Center Córdoba. He/She will be responsible for the development of design software to be applied in transformers design, supporting diagnostics in the energy industry products, knowing very well good practices in the field of software development and able to apply them effectively. The candidate shall place great emphasis on quality and attention to details, which are visible in the results of their work, having a solid technical foundation and experience allowing them to predict the long-term effects of their decisions regarding the project.Open people who can present new ideas in an understandable way, cooperate in a team and implement solutions, and communicate in English will fit perfectly into the team.Your responsibilities:Support project backlog managementDelivery according to sprint planning and master planRequirements gathering and analysisDefinition of acceptance criteria and test casesSoftware architecture complianceCode quality and security assuranceTechnical debt managementSolution testing and bug fixingEffective communication with team members and project stakeholdersHandling related documentationIntroducing improvementsLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the businessYour background:Software engineering / Computer science/Mathematics degree(s).
