Objectives:
Position BASF PA6 Value Chain (Caprolactam, Polyamide 6) in the Asian market develops and implements regional marketing strategies, leading countries sales realizing strategic objectives. Develop comprehensive marketing concepts focusing new business development, portfolio upgrading, price management and key account management. Develop sustainability concept and drive commercialization as the leader in the industryJob Responsibilities:
1. Strategy development and implementation
- Develop and implement regional marketing strategies. Manage milestone achievement driving defined projects
- Manage comprehensive market intelligence, the latest new market trends in each country2. Business performance management, Country marketing
- Drive profitable growth. Develop price guideline and timely update price guide considering holistic factors of Raw Material, Supply-Demand balance, application know-hows and competitions
- Monitor sales project progress and support countries to achieve targets
- Develop and implement (key) customer concepts. Lead key account management teams, particularly transplants across countries & regions3. Product management, new product/business development
- Lead new product/business development upgrading portfolio toward high valued grades (i.e., Co-Polymer grade).
- Lead new project development working across teams (R&D, Sales, Production) and drive new product launch and realize commercialization on time
- Lead phase-gate meeting evaluating the project feasibility and key decisions and next actions. Propose the next phase4. Lead sustainability and expedite commercialization
- Closely support BMB & Ccycled (Biomass balance and ChemCycling) ramp up for Textile application. Develop concepts for production site (Jade Tree) defining key milestones for mid-term focusing on business plan5. SBU representative
- Be the focal point to Monomers Operation Division strategy team. Supported by controlling team, lead annual operation planning representing SBU. Lead cross regional topics, such as arbitrage and Raw Material sourcing from other regionsJob Requirements:
1. Education
University degree in Business, Economics, Chemistry or Chemical engineering background.2. Working Experience
- Several years of experience in product management, marketing, sales in multi-national companies
- Related to Polyamide business is an advantage3. Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Solid strategic thinking communicating with impact. High level of problem-solving skills with analytical competency
- Lead team demonstrating entrepreneurial mind, influencing across teams (Sales, R&D, Productions)
