  • In-charge of the technical team
  • Provide coaching and training to the technical team
  • Act as the point of contact between the Contractors and Venue Operations Team on all matters relating to technical services
  • Responsible for supervising and reporting all technical services performed under the Contract, including those technical services provided by third party contractors
  • Manage technical team to ensure services are delivered in compliance with the SLA/ statutory requirements/ Ordinances and achieve the KPI targets
  • Monitor and liaise with the Relevant Authorities to deliver services on time and close monitor quality control and progress of works
  • Ensure all buildings, facilities, systems and machinery are in good conditions and performing at their highest standards
  • Deliver the planned preventive maintenance and ensure all works orders are completed on time
  • Report and monitor technical services delivery and prepare and submit technical reports including report of Failure Analysis, Facilities Availability and Reliability, Operation Performance, Energy Saving, Sustainability and Power Efficiency Analysis
  • Prepare facilities improvement proposal with budget estimation for achieving target of effective and safety enhancement
  • Supervise improvement, alternations & additions (A&A) works and renovation projects when required
  • Prepare tender documents for outsourcing works including facilities services, repair, maintenance, renew/ replace works, test & inspections, recondition, overhaul, fitting out, renovation, certification and license renewal services on the Authority’s terms and conditions
  • Management vendor procurement processes in accordance with the approved procurement guidelines and policy
  • Review and monitor the performance of vendors and contractors
  • Supervise repair and maintenance works of sub-contractors to comply with the service level requirements
  • Supper the budget estimation and preparation for technical services
  • Conduct routine inspections and prepare inspectors reports
  • Provide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance, if required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Authority
Key qualifications
  • Degree holder or above in Engineering of Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or other related disciplines with relevant professional qualifications is essential
  • Registered Electrical Worker Certificate A0 or B0
  • Minimum of 12 years of technical services experience, of which a minimum of 6 years in the manager grade of facilities management operations gained in venues of similar size
Personal skills you excel
  • Good PC knowledge of MS Word, Excel and etc.
  • Good communication and effective interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work at night and during public holidays/ Sundays
  • Capable to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, especially in report writing
