- Collaborate with the MD and COO to identify and pursue potential business partnerships, conducting market research and analysis to evaluate opportunities.
- Assess the viability of business deals by analysing market strategies, financial implications, and alignment with company goals.
- Develop business strategies to facilitate the successful closure of new business deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
- Coordinate and follow up progress with respective business units to ensure completion of projects and programmes according to strict deadlines and budgets, ensuring achievement of agreed objectives.
- Prepare various documents and communications for the MD including proposals, presentations, speeches, and reports.
- Attend meetings with the MD or represent the MD in meetings and accurately convey messages and updates.
- Manage special projects and perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Local Malaysian with a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supporting the MD/CEO.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Conversant in Mandarin as the role requires constant communication with the China market.
- This is not a secretarial role, moderate international/domestic travelling is required.
