  • Deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to meet the individual needs of students
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Degree in Primary Education or relevant field
Education:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or related field
Experience:
  • Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a classroom and student behaviour
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to assess student learning and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications or training in Special Education or English as a Second Language (ESL)
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours
  • May require participation in extracurricular activities or school events
