We are looking to appoint a highly committed teaching assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated team. The successful applicant will be expected to work with children delivering high quality interventions and work closely alongside our class teachers to support our children in the class.The role includes working as a Higher level teaching Assistant for 1 day each week. This includes taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of an aspect of the Curriculum and assessing children's progress in this area.Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.45-3.30pm. The position will be permanent. We welcome applications from candidates with experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2. Please specify your experience in your application. - NVQ/BTEC Level 3 childcare qualification or higher qualification
- English and Mathematics GCSE Grade C or above
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Experience of working with children in a school in a teaching assistant role
- A positive role model for children who will lead by example and form positive relationships within a team
- Monitoring targets for future progress
- Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
- Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
- Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school's practice
- Excellent behaviour management skills
