  • Collaborate with the warehouse controller to ensure monthly warehouse reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update the warehouse locations document for daily dispatch logs.
  • Manage stock rotation of Wood/Timber supply and notify Production management when low.
  • Maintain stock items and oversee movement between warehouses.
  • Support various aspects of the production department with provided training.
  • Ensure all despatch transactions are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Drive improvements in operational management systems under the guidance of Procurement and Production Managers.
  • Assist in day-to-day store activities, including material preparation for workshop issuance.
  • Provide timely weights and dimensions to warehouse/despatch teams.
  • Work with despatch and warehouse teams to ensure proper packaging for transportation.
  • Utilize fork-truck as needed and maintain its upkeep.
  • Ensure organizational processes adhere to legal compliance standards.
Key Functional Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with Production leads to maintain adequate material levels.
  • Uphold storage quality to meet customer expectations.
  • Daily update of departmental KPIs.
  • Operate safely in accordance with company health and safety policies.
  • Address daily 5S improvement requirements promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Provide relevant inventory information to the Procurement team when required.
  • Manage inventory across all store locations per Quality Manual.
  • Conduct accurate stock counts during audits.
  • Drive continual departmental improvement initiatives.
  • Actively seek ways to enhance Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) metrics.
  • Collaborate with despatch and warehouse teams for effective product packaging.
  • Ensure document scanning per Quality Manual instructions.
  • Record all transactions accurately as per work instructions.
  • Manage material/supplies delivery to production areas based on Production Planning schedule.
  • Operate saw for cutting materials as needed.
  • Assist in the boxing department as required by the Production team.
  • Perform Goods In/Out tasks as needed.
  • Maintain outside yard cleanliness and manage material and waste skips.
  • Control supplier and customer transportation visitors, ensuring compliance with company rules.
Key Requirements:
  • Forklift truck license preferred; willingness to learn essential.
  • Ability to maintain activity throughout the working day.
  • Strong administration skills.
