You will be responsible for overseeing the production scheduling process, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing resource allocation to meet customer demands. With your expertise in production planning and scheduling, you will contribute to the success and growth of our organization. You will report directly to our Production Manager, and you'll work out of our Gul Circle, Singapore location on a onsite work schedule.Key Responsibilities:
  • This is a supervisory role which includes production scheduling as well.
  • Lead a team of ISC operations technicians in supporting aftermarket mechanical, auxiliary power unit (APU) value stream.
  • The team is responsible for APU Front-End (Gate 1) processes such as receiving inspection, disassembly, cleaning, and inspection/NDT.
  • Through collaboration with cross functional teams (product engineering, ISC engineering, quality, pricing, and customer support), you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement.
  • Production scheduling is part of the daily required tasks to ensure orders are planned according to APU value stream requirements.
  • Need to drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Coach and develop your team members in behavioral competencies to deliver high impact business results.
MUST HAVE:
  • Min Diploma in Aerospace Technology or other relevant educational qualification
  • At least 3- 5 years in production planning in an aerospace industry
  • Experience in production scheduling is a must.
  • SAP knowledge and usage is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching a team is a must.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently is a must.
  • Willingness to work longer hours when required to overcome issues is a must.
  • Understanding of APU process stream will be advantageous.
  • Understanding of customers' expectations and behaviors will be advantageous.
  • Understanding of lean operations principle will be advantageous.
