Reporting to the Supplier Contracts & Commercial Consultant, you will be responsible for driving contractual formation and compliance for the Technology Department, embedding company processes with the extended team and providing guidance at every stage of the contracting lifecycle from RFI to supplier selection, negotiations, contracting plus the ongoing relationship and performance of the supplier partner.What will my accountabilities be?
- Manage contract lifecycle ensuring all contracts are up-to-date
- Supporting sourcing activity during the RFP/RFI process
- Managing stakeholders during contracting processes
- Drafting and reviewing contract documents
- Working with stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and commercials with suppliers
- Monitor and manage supplier risks using globally approved processes
- Liaising with the internal legal team and external counsel
- Work with Supplier Contracts & Commercial Consultant to resolve any contractual disputes
- Building and maintaining good relationships with supplier partners
- Updating contracts database with all new / renewed contracts
The Technology Contracts Specialist operate within the Supplier Management team and as part of the Running Great Restaurant Technology department.Additionally, they will work extremely closely with the Global Vendor Management Office and Market Legal Team.Who are my customers?

- Experience in managing end-to-end indirect sourcing and procurement and contracts lifecycle processes
- Significant experience in managing a diverse and broad range of suppliers idealliy in technology, but other industries will be considered
- Negotiation and sourcing experience with large commercial contracts and vendors whilst familiar with related legal constructs
- Experience in supplier governance processes
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders including McDonalds Franchisees and our partners
- Detail driven and able to easily identify trends
- Able to improve activity through problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and commercial acumen
- Organised and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Willingness to share information, good practice and expertise with others
