With a presence across 14 offices in the UK, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, our client is at the forefront of providing multi-disciplinary services across various sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, Rail, and Life Sciences.About the Role:As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Building Services team based in Salford Quays. You will contribute your expertise to deliver technically excellent electrical designs within the built environment, ensuring quality and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and innovative projects across multiple sectors, collaborating closely with top-tier architects and clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of electrical design solutions for projects in various sectors, including Nuclear, Life Sciences, Defence, and Aviation.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into larger projects.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior engineers to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
  • Take ownership of project deliverables, demonstrating innovation, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in electrical engineering.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, communicating technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies within the Electrical Engineering discipline.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality electrical designs in the built environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Eligibility to obtain security clearance and airside pass applications as required.
