- As a Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of standards are met as outlined in the USACE – CQM course.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards
- Communicate and collaborate with project managers and team members to identify and address any quality issues
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Communicate with clients to understand their quality expectations and ensure those expectations are met
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure quality standards are met by suppliers and vendors
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on quality control activities and outcomes.
- Must have or be able to obtain a US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Contractors Quality Management Certificate (CQM)r to Job Description for Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical Engineer or Construction Management with 10 years of experience
- Proficiency in MEP aspects of construction
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner
- Promptly complete and furnish all letters, material submittals, shop drawing submittals, schedules and all other project documentation to the CQC organization
- Previous USACE or NAVFAC CQM experience
- Extensive knowledge of USACE, NAVFAC, Federal, and Military construction standards and regulations
- Prior use of Resident Management System (RMS)
- Working knowledge of the USACE EM385-1-1 manual
