- Apply comprehensive technical and domain knowledge of data integration platforms to diagnose root cause and resolve complex data integration issues faced by commercial systems.
- Actively lead and coordinate technical red teams across multiple internal and external vendor service organizations to diagnose root cause and resolve complex data integration issues involving interconnected systems.
- Implement proactive automated monitoring of data interfaces; Run metrics to determine performance issues including slow running interfaces, data rejects, data errors, etc.
- Develop new options and implement appropriate measures to resolve recurring performance issues.
- Conduct code and configuration changes to data integration components required to fix bugs or deliver enhancements. Manage appropriate software development life cycle change documentation as per approved SOPs.
- Lead and influence the conversation at appropriate data governance forum e.g., Master Data Management Governance, to raise data quality issues faced and to continually improve quality of data within commercial systems.
- Coordinate with Development & Risk Management to establish data security needs; Proactively monitor, review, and implement compliance and security measures to meet stated data security requirements.
- Always maintain up to date versions of data integration platforms ensuring testing and migration of code as required.
- Coordinate with DBA and Infrastructure teams to monitor and maintain the optimum performance and health of the databases including Snowflake, Oracle, and Postgres environments.
- Always maintain up to date documentation and lead with examples influencing data practitioners to create effective knowledgebase covering data integration platform topics. Support legal and audit requests.
- Expected to have broader vision on end-to-end data integration process and hands-on experience with Informatica/Matillion via Oracle/Snowflake integration with SaaS solutions like Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Business Management field.
- 5+ years of experience in data integration in areas of application development and/or application support/maintenance
- 3+ years of most recent experience and demonstrated expertise with two or more technologies with salesforce.com integration, ineach of the categories.
- Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud Services, MuleSoft, Matillion etc.,
- Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL
- Unix scheduler, Autosys, UC4 etc.,
- Hands-on experience in Programming (Java, .net, Python etc..,) and/or Software Development Lifecycle management. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship competencies.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities. Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and effectively execute tasks and projects.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, and ability to quickly develop new technical and functional competencies.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, earning the trust both of customers and teammates.
- Ability to adapt to new work assignments, flexibility, and willingness to work with a global team across regions and time zones.
- Experience working in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
- One or more admin or developer certifications on Informatica, MuleSoft, Snowflake/Oracle or Salesforce platforms.
- Experience Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, preferably Salesforce.com/Veeva.
- Experience with any Salesforce.com platform solutions.
- Experience with Agile development.
- Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 endeavour. This role may require occasional physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours.
- May occasionally require travel, primarily to other Pfizer sites in the region and globally.
- Required to be Pfizer Onsite at least 2-3 days a week.
