- Actively support the Youth Marketing director in the development and execution of their Innovation strategy:
- Support the development of a winning Y&K 3 years innovation pipeline through the development of Y&K snacking Innovation platforms that will drive strong idea generation and concept development in order to help Pladis to move to a leading position in Y&K snacking
- Provide support and insight on the development of Innovation propositions, including product, pack and price development
- Recommend on the best research approach to validating and understanding of the innovation ensuring world-class commercialisation
- Deliver a clear research plan to support the Y&K Marketing Director in the development and execution of their Brand Building strategy:
- Drive the Repositioning of our Jaffa brand (£100m brand)
- Identify the Communication and Activation opportunities we have around Y&K with our existing Sweet brand portfolio including Jaffa, Pinguin, Gold, Club, Flipz and Iced Gem brands
- Monitor Brand Health in Y&K sweet snacking
- Implement outstanding monitoring plans for our main Y&K consumer-facing activations
- Lead internal and external partners in Marketing, R&D, Customer and global Y&K and Insight team
- Manages CMI Y&K insight budget
- Become the consumer expert on Sustainability in Macro-snacking: Leverage the BCG demand spaces dataset to build consumer typologies around Health and Sustainability
- CMI experience with another FMCG manufacturer, ideally within Impulse/Snacking categories
- Solid understanding of market research methodologies Quantitive and Qualitative research methodology design.
- Be a strong storyteller, with the ability to communicate insights with impact & in an inspiring way
- Collaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Demonstrate both analytical and creative thinking abilities
- Strong conceptual skills, including flexibility in approach to problem-solving, and ability to push beyond the obvious to find innovative solutions.
- Stands alone, when needed, with strong points of view and presents facts/insights in challenging situations with professional manner.
- Comfortable dealing with Senior Stakeholders (CMO, R&D VP, NRM Director) on a regular basis.
