- Support budgeting and funding
- Assist the company in managing its investment portfolio
- Assume responsibility for accounting procedures
- Evaluate the company's performance using key data
- Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making
- Advise on problems and suggest improvements
- Supervise lower-level personnel
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
- Construct data accumulation systems
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office
- A problem-solver with attention to detail
- CIMA
- CA(SA)
- Minimum 3-5 years of FMCG experience
- Beverage and raw materials experience advantageous
