- Diagnose automation faults and eliminate through various problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Whys, Kaizen, Fishbone)
- Support Automation Test rigs to reduce and eliminate downtime working collaboratively alongside all stakeholders.
- Build, test and develop automation and electronic solutions to achieve increased volume throughput using innovative solutions.
- Provide support to Operations in support of Continuous Improvement projects.
- Work alongside all business sectors in design reviews and New Product Development (NPD) projects.
- Raise and manage Problem Reports to enhance all automation related products.
- Investigate, verify and validate software releases and related issues to increase efficiency working alongside business specialists.
- Must have a full uk driving license and must be able to travel for UK and sister company meetings and opportunities.
- HND or equivalent in Automation / Electronic Engineering.
- Enhanced electronics theory.
- PCB technology, assembly and associated drawings.
- Skilled Solder and repair techniques.
- Embedded electronics assembly, test, calibration and programming capability.
- High level of fault finding on PCB’s and electronic components.
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter or other CAD packages.
- Teamcenter or equivalent.
