The Senior Finance Manager oversees the financial administration of the organisation including general accounting, patient accounting, and financial and statistical reporting. Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, the Finance Manager plays a key role in driving organisational performance through financial planning, operational analysis, and policy development.
Responsibilities :Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaborate with the CEO to evaluate organizational performance against the annual budget and long-term strategic goals.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
- Evaluate accounting processes for quality control and improve methods to streamline workflows and ensure timely collections.
- Lead the preparation of operational and capital budgets based on past, current, and forecasted financial data.
- Conduct variance analysis and cash flow assessments, recommending modifications as necessary.
- Prepare detailed analyses of financial statements, identifying trends and variances, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Oversee the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including those required by government and regulatory bodies.
- Analyze market trends and operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial performance while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Ensure timely submission of all required reports, including tax filings, and Medical cost reports.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain transparency and compliance.
- Inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Support department managers in budget preparation and strategic planning.
- Strong Financial Knowledge: A deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax laws.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends.
