- Processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Balancing of supplier statements for nominated accounts
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
- Process business expense returns
- Carry out payment runs (BACS, CHAPS)
- Assist with end of year preparation and procedures
- An Accounting or Finance degree or AAT qualification
- Good knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Experience of the full purchase to pay cycle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Understanding of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- An estimated salary range of £22,500 - £27,500 per year
