- At least Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience or participation in end-to-end study projects with designing and simulating circuit boards, building, and testing prototypes.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- Practical knowledge of hardware design process and tools (Schematics and layout tools like Altium, KiCad, Eagle, circuit simulations like SPICE, LTspice).
- Knowledge of main properties of electronics components used in electronics design, you should have general knowledge that resistance is not the only property of resistor, and capacitance is not the only property of capacitor. You should understand main parameters of transistors, integrated circuits, inductors, and transformers.
- Practical knowledge of test and measurement equipment (power supply, signal generator, oscilloscope) and circuit boards testing (measuring of voltages and currents, capturing of signal shape or response).
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies. Hitachi Energy is a leader in HVDC technology, with long track of achievements. There are many interesting and unique solutions used in our equipment.

- English language – Intermediate / B1 / Technical communication.
- It would be advantage: Experience with digital circuits and interfaces (FPGA, CPUs, Memories, Backplanes…) Experience with PCB layout design and PCBA manufacturing Experience with Power Electronics (gate drivers, power supplies) Experience with fiber optics communication Understanding scope of EMC, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity
