The Team
Our team at QUEST supports one of the world's largest locomotive manufacturing organizations with a primary focus on design, engineering, manufacturing, project management, Supply chain and digital solutions. The Role
We are looking to add a mid-level Engineer to help our Development team supporting leading Railroad OEM on their next-gen products.Job Functions * Understanding the functionality and should be able to develop test scenarios based on the development done.
  • Writing manual test cases in HP ALM and running in the Test results in ALM.
  • Defect management and tracking using Rally.
  • Running the test scenarios based on the Manual test cases written and documenting the test results.
  • Participating in the meetings with other team members to design and develop quality test cases.
  • Supporting and complying with documented test process and procedure requirements spanning all phases of test life cycle
  • Managing your own work time and priorities in accordance with aggressive development deadlines, best practice, and a quality/delivery methodology, such as Agile Development, that includes test standards.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
QualificationsWe're excited to talk to you if:
  • BS or higher in either Electronics/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience, Transportation - Rail domain will be preferred.
  • Experience with HP ALM, SQL.
  • Experience with Rally, xWiki.
  • Experience in writing test cases in ALM, both positive and negative test cases.
  • Ability to do Manual testing by understanding the scenarios from the Acceptance Criteria.
  • Ability to think out of the box scenarios for the test cases.
  • Ability to test software with quality and not to miss any defects.
  • Ability to perform Adhoc and Regression tests based on the need for the test scenarios.
  • Ability to work/collaborate with teams in a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with both customers and internal and external employees.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to lead the effort with minimum supervision.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with HPALM, SQL
  • Experience with Xwiki, Rally
