  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in contract management or project management.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and track project progress.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a history of successfully managing teams and driving project success.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
As a Contracts Manager:
  • Manage all aspects of mechanical contracts, including reviewing contract documents, identifying project requirements, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Lead the preparation of bids and proposals for mechanical projects, including estimating costs, developing project schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, resource requirements, and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects, providing regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify and select subcontractors for mechanical projects, negotiate contracts, and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, implementing measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and other potential issues.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that mechanical projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies on all mechanical projects, promoting a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
The Package:The salary & package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably.
