You will have considerable experience working with children and their families in a statutory social care environment, specifically managing and supporting social workers and ASYEs, and a wealth of experience supervising cases that are in the PLO/ Court arenaWith fantastic leadership skills and attributes, you will ensure your team members are well-supported and equipped to succeed. We expect you to have extensive frontline experience as well as a solid track record of managing and developing a team. Building positive relationships is important not just with the children, young people, and families we work with but also with colleagues and external partner agencies.You will offer a high level of support and challenge to your social workers and inspire your teams to do their very best for Tameside children.We firmly believe that all children in Tameside deserve the best start in life, and we are looking for the right people to help make this happen.Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience as a Team Manager within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
- DBS check processed and paid for by Eden Brown Synergy
